Does the institution have a program to reduce residence hall move-out waste?:
A brief description of the program:
The Office of Residence Life “Why Wait? Donate!” program collects useful, unbroken items from residence hall students and donates them to charitable organizations. Donation areas are available to residence hall students throughout the year, with an expanded collection during move-out week to divert waste from landfills. Items collected include unbroken furniture, unopened non-perishable food, clothing, housewares, electronics, bicycles, stationery items, and books. Residence hall students can also recycle loft wood, cinderblocks, plastics, cans, glass, paper, batteries and print cartridges during move-out week.
