Intervention axis 5.3 of the Sustainability Policy aims to “adopt a responsible management of resources, products and services”. Specifically, in 5.3.2, the policy states that the University must “aim for the responsible acquisition and use of goods and services, taking into account, among other things, the total costs of ownership and their social and environmental impacts throughout the life cycle, in order to minimize the ecological and social footprint”. (See attached policy).

In Paragraph 5.6 of the Procurement, Services, and Construction Contracts Policy, it is specified that: « this policy aims to promote the University's engagement in sustainable development and the environment, and encourages requesting parties to incorporate responsible procurement concepts into their acquisition projects. The University's Sustainable Development policy should serve as a guideline in this matter for any acquisition of goods, services, and construction works. »
