Anthropology:
a. Global & environmental impact of commerce, re-distribution of resources, population growth.

Biology:
a: Positive and negative impacts of science on technology, society, and the natural world.
b. Ethical and societal implications of scientific approaches.

Nutrition:
a. Identify nutrition misinformation and establish guidelines for alternative food ways.
b. Hazards of food supply.


These results are based on a faculty survey developed and administered by Dr. Anna Marshall-Baker. For 2009-10 (latest data available).

Note that the course inventory data are from 2011. Once the definition of sustainability in academics (Credit ER-5 Pt. 1) has been officially adopted via the CAP approval process, the inventory will be updated.
