A brief description of the policies and/or programs:

The 2007 Climate Action Plan commits UCI to reducing overall greenhouse gas emissions to 2000 levels by 2014, 1990 levels by 2020, and to achieving climate neutrality by 2050. Air travel accounted for 24% of GHG emissions in 2005. Since the baseline year (2005) UCI has reduced air travel GHG emissions from 26,890 CO2E to 25, 280 CO2E while increasing faculty and staff.
